As a senior editor at TPG, Caroline Lascom writes and edits all kinds of travel content. Before joining Red Ventures, TPG's parent company, she wrote and edited travel guidebooks — primarily focused on Latin America — as well as produced editorial and marketing content for various newspapers, magazines and websites.
Originally from Manchester in the United Kingdom, Caroline has spent two decades as a travel writer. She has lived in Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Cuba, Brazil and Mexico and traveled to 72 countries. She has a bachelor’s degree in Latin American studies from Manchester University and a master’s degree in literature from Northwestern University. Some of her most memorable travel experiences include gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park; studying Portuguese in Salvador, Brazil; cycling through Cuba; and watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat.
